NAC was co-founded in 1997 by Industry experts and has evolved over the years
into one of America’s largest and most respected ADA consultancies having surveyed
thousands of buildings and been involved in cutting edge litigation as the ADA laws are
redefined and implemented. NAC maintains excellent relationships with state and federal attorneys and agencies responsible for the interpretation of disabled access laws. Our firm's clients frequently utilize our unique contacts with governmental officials. In addition to a regular staff of administrative clerical and technical assistants, NAC has several key associates and affiliates. The following personnel form NAC's expanded infrastructure. ANTHONY E. GOLDSMITH Founder and Senior PartnerPrior to the founding of the firm, Mr.Goldsmith was practicing law with a specialized expertise in the ADA and other code compliance and land use issues. Mr. Goldsmith is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law and has been a licensed attorney since 1986. He enriches the team with his specialized knowledge of code interpretation and a reality based analysis of the effects and risks associated with compliance and non-compliance with disabled access laws. Adept in speaking and interpreting the language of the law, Mr. Goldsmith is able to provide our attorney and risk management clients with a level of expertise unavailable from any other disabled access consulting firm or expert. Anthony Goldsmith brings his consulting talents in addition to his attorney's eye and expertise to the interpretation and effects of codes and regulations. MICHAEL BENNETT – Founder and V.P. Business Affairs Michael Bennett brings to NAC an extensive background in property development and management. He is also an acknowledged producer and distributor of curriculum based and educational media products. Mr. Bennett serves as NAC's administrative partner and manages the company's marketing, publication and information service divisions. His organizational and technical expertise helps the firm maintain it's professional and competitive edge. ALAN WINKLER –VP and Senior Associate Alan Winkler is the firm's senior associate and administers NAC's survey and plan check departments. Alan's previous background includes six years as a disabled access inspector and compliance officer for a large Southern California municipality. Mr. Winkler began his career after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Mr. Winkler attended three years of design courses including designing new residential neighborhoods and commercial and industrial facilities. Design courses included providing accessible sidewalks and play areas for children. JOSHUA SHEA – IT manager Joshua Shea is NAC's information systems manager. Mr. Shea oversees the creation of and updating and operation of several types of proprietary software which distinguishes NAC from any other firm in the industry. NAC's automated compliance evaluation survey software, which was developed in part by Mr. Shea serves as a benchmark in the arena, envied by other top level access consultants and experts. |
